according to Uniform Facsimile Signature of Public Officials Act,
Facsimile Signature" means a reproduction by engraving, imprinting, stamping, or other means of the manual signature of an authorized officer.
wiki defines
A facsimile (From Latin fac simile, "make like") is a copy or reproduction of an old book, manuscript, map, art print or other item of historical value that is as true-to-the-original source as possible using, normally, some form of photographic technique.
perhaps a reference of fax may help you. lets say in this way, so it includes any kind of true copier.

regards
