if packing list disclosed all information as per commercial invoice however specification section in packing list mentioned additional information will treat as discrepancy or not. please clarify.

Hi Pal,

IMHO, no, Packing list may contain additional data not in contrast. Opinion TA860 admits "spare
parts" too.

It is not a discrepancy as Packing list may contain additional data.

It depends... If the 'specification section' indicates a detailed description of goods stated in the invoice , then there would be no discrepancy.
If however, the additional information indicates additional products not required by L/C, then a discrepancy can be raised. As far as opinion TA860 is concerned, the conclusion of the panel was that "goods & spare parts are intrinsically linked" which, in my opinion, describes a different situation than this topic.
