What Does "The Document So Delivered" Means

dear nesar,

document so delivered means that bank will not examine whether the required document has been presented or not before the actual examination. that means to me that anyone can send a document saying that its under LC no##### which includes no such documents and i will accept that and later can put any discrepancies except late presentation if it was presented within time

some organization use a seal "Documents received without verifying the contents."

Don't the words indicate to mean -

The documents under a credit delivered either to the issuing bank or nominated bank constitute presentation.

Presentation means either the delivery of documents under a credit to the issuing bank or nominated bank or the documents so delivered.
the article indicates that the presentation occurs when the document is delivered either to issuing bank or nominated bank. the questioned words "the documents so delivered" are talking about the way the documents are to be presented.

let me try.

what are the things that constitute a document? invoice, BL, COO etc. now lets assume that a set of document was presented to the issuing bank with a forwarding schedule claiming reimbursement under a lc. later u find that there is no invoice. this is a discrepancy of that presentation. even with a document missing that was a presentation. but there is a question. if the nominated bank mentions on the forwarding letter the number of documents there are for forwarding, then i believe that you should inform the nominated bank about the missing document first. to avoid possible complication some banks received the document with the wordings as mentioned by zakir
