Packing List Showing Container Number But Not Seal Number

Packing list showing container number . Is it also required to show seal ?

IMHO, if not required by l/c terms, no compulsary to be quoted.

Unless their is a specific requirement in the LC, you do not need to list the seal number HOWEVER, consistency is key, and if it is listed on the BL, it should be listed on the packing list but the bank will not cite this as a discrepancy.

A document showing packing details only will be sufficient to accept it as complying unless otherwise stipulated in the credit.

Most of the packing lists we receive do not contain container numbers and we do not raise discrepancy.

there is no need for mention the such data at all if not required by the credit but to fulfill the intent content of the docs
