Can anyone tell me what the meaning of non vessel operating common carier.

Hi Pal,

some organizations have no vessel but they prepared cargoes and effected shipments by hiring vessels or slots in same vessels.
From legal point of view they are considered contractual carrier where carrier having ships are called performing carrier.
It is, indeed, an agent with some more liabilities.
