bill of lading issued by carrier

Dear Friends. We have received a sight Lc in which BL is required to be issued by the carrier. Normally they mention as issued by the agent. Will it be a discrepancy when we submit docs ?

Hi Pal,
issuing and signing are different action in UCP world: In your case the bill of lading will be issued on carrier's form but signed by the carrier same or its agent as per UCP terms.
