Import Machinery

Hi,

Good Day!

I need a help to know the process. Im from Bangladesh.

• LC open from Poland or any other country,
• Supplier from China or any other country,
• Goods produce from Bangladesh or importing country.

how this is works if LC is UPAS.

More details, please?

A Polish importer opens a l/c in favour of a Bengalese Exporter, the goods have been produced in Bangladesh or China?
The l/c contains a clayse that the defferred payment may be paid at sight, less discount etc.?
Usually importing machinery, a bank guarantee(Performance bond) is required or a 10/15% is paid after testing the machine?

• LC applicant – ABC, Poland or any country
• Beneficiary – XYZ, China or any country
• Loading port – China
• Discharge Port – Chittagong, Bangladesh.
• Goods produce from Bangladesh

LC will be UPAS

Hi Pal,

Frankly I dont understand: a Polish Applicant buys a machinery that is in China, transports it to Bangladesh, than starts a production of goods.
The machinery has to be paid by l/c, this l/c, in some way, permits to advance payment(usance paid at sight)
Other details?
