Dear All,
in case of air shipment, we usually ask for HAWB where the MAWB must also be submitted. this is usually the case for small consignment. however i have noticed that the terms and condition of the back of the HAWB and the MAWB is not identical. is it the general case. in case of dispute, which terms and condition should we apply?

on whom the claim is
i think first we need to decide on whom the claim will be made; actual carrier or contracting carrier. i think it also depends on who the HAWB is signed; as carrier or freight forwarder. however ideally the terms and condition of these two BL should be identical. but in practice its tough to get since a freight forwarder has only one type of BL while it has too ship the goods with many carrier.
