What Is The Meaning Of Notify Party On Bill Of Lading
In my opinion, the notify party is required to prevent demurrage charges from the port authority and timely the goods can be offloaded from the port, the bank as consignee also needs to be notified

Notify parties
Hi Pals,
IMHO, it is the way to inform someone specially when the bill is consigned to order.
Notify party has no power, but he may arrange all the necessary to take up the goods, naturally
under presentation of original bill of lading.
Other comments appreciated

Notify
Picant is on dot.
Notify party can be the Applicant or any party who'll act at the behest of the Applicant on issues of releasing the goods or the like. For sure they are not holders of title to goods in the least.
