Dear colleagues,
L/C requires a presentation of Bill of Lading. Bill of Lading presented has a preprinted on board date 2014/05/20 while field 'Dated at', which is understood to mean the issuance date, is left blank (no other date of issuance is found in the document). Would you be so kind as to share your esteemed opinion whether this document bearing no issuance date should or should not be found discrepant under UCP 600 and new ISBP?

no need issuance date...
Hi,
From ISBP paragraph A11,a,iii - I understand that a dated on board notation is enough. For B/Ls the main issue regarding dates is to determine date of shipment. On board date will be sufficient for this purpose. Date of issue may be required when no on board notation exists and B/L is a Shipped BL.
Other comments appreciated.
