Why always the confirming bank requests that LC to be available with them in order to add its confirmation

Dear Firas,

Not all cases, there are cases where the confirming bank pays the presenting bank upon confirmation that issuing bank fails to pay(Just to give you idea about confirmation, Kind of standby)

''LC available with bank is the bank where the documents is to be presented''
It is wise decision of the confirming bank that all documents should be presented at confirming bank counter in order to ensure that compliance of the documents.

When the credit is available with another bank, in particular issuing bank, the confirming bank needs to be specific in the language of their confirmation to clearly articulate what they are confirming and how their undertaking will be enforceable.
