MMTD Shows Only Issue Date, No On Board Notation Mentioned

Extract from a LC:
44E: Shanghai Port
44F: Chittagong port
44B: Gazipur
In MMTD shipment was completed / shown as stated in LC. MMTD shows only issue date, no on board notation mentioned. Does the requirement of an 'on board notation' is must?

hI Pal,

the on board notation,is necessary when first leg of transport is by sea.
