Dear Colleagues,

Hope u are all fine.
.
Need you valuable opinion regarding one little case.
MT700 field 44D shipment period says: during middle of June XXXX
.
CMR has been presented. It shows "PLACE AND DATE OF TAKING IN CHARGE OF THE GOODS - ISTANBUL, DATE 9 JUNE XXXX".
.
It also shows "PLACE AND DATE OF ISSUE - 11 JUNE XXXX"
.
Shipment not within period allowed - do you consider it as discrepancy or not?

Hi Pal,

as per Opinion TA657 rev, R632, Analysis Discrepancy 2 it is written.....
...With the completation of box 4 (place and date of receipt of the goods), the date appearing in the box 21 (place and date of issuance) will not be considered in the determination of the date of receipt or shipment.
..
So document discrepant, for me.

As per requirement of the credit, shipment must be between 11 to 20 June, but the CMR shows shipment on 9 June, which is obviously a discrepancy.

I will consider the date of taking in charge of CMR as the shipment date, so it is discrepancy

hi,
it's discrepant because:
1. middle of june means: shipment date is from 11 to 20 of june
2. CMA clearly shows shipment date is 09 june
