Hi,
What can be done when an export document sent on collection under documentary credit remains unanswered?
We have not received either discripancy message nor acceptance message from the issuing bank and the
document is also not processed. We are unable to find the fate of the document.

Export bill under Documentary Credit remaining unanswered
Hi !
At first you should track the documents using the courier service tracking system whether it is delivered to to right address. If the document was delivered to the right place, the you should ask that bank about the fate of the documents using SWIFT MT 799 or MT 999 (which one is applicable based on RMA). In the mean time, you should also ask your client (exporter) to contact with the applicant to resolve the matter.
