Hello,

i received a letter of credit, which has the following term; xxxx Goods, CFR LO, YYY port. i want to know what is CFR LO?

Hi Pal,

awaiting further information about your l/c, the only word near LO, could be LO -LO, lift on lift out, when the container are lifted on the vessel by crane.In my opinion delivery term if CFR (destination) than bill of lading must not evidence Heavy Lift surcharge, being this fee paid by the seler and included in the price.

LO Means Lift on/Lift off so it depends in which context it is being used.

CFR LO stands for Cost and freight Liner Out which means cost of unloading the goods at port of discharge should be included in freight. Your BL must show this accordingly
