Negotiation of Documents

Dear friend ,

If issuing Bank and beneficiary located in same place in country then can we submit documents directly to issuing bank for negotiation of shipment documents.

good day all,
First of all, beneficiary can present docs to the issuing bank whether they are located in the same country or not (refer to SUB.ART.6-a) of UCP600
Second, if negotiation of documents is intended to be that definition given in ART 2, kindly note that the issuing bank is unable to negotiate as it can only honour docs
