Hi Pals,
a documentary credit calls for a port to port bill of lading as follows:
44E: Chittagong Port, bangladesh
44F: Leghorn Port,
presented a bill of lading indicating:
Place of receipt: Chittagong Port, Bangladesh
Pre-carrier: VESSEL A voy.1234
Port of loading: Chittagong Port, Bangladesh
Ocean carrier( left blank)
Port of discharge: Leghorn
On the body of the bill the following notation
SHIPPED ON BOARD
GOODS ON BOARD
Port of loading:Chittagong
per VSL: A voy 1234
12 AUG 2018 (notation duly signed)
Is this bill of lading acceptable? References to UCP, Opinion, ISBP 745 welcome.
Thanks and Ciao

May I ask you what are the reasons that scuh B/L would not be acceptable? For me, there is a clear and direct reference between 'on board' notation and the date, vessel and POL!
thx!
