Vietnam Laws on Bank Guarantee

With the introduction of Uniform Rules for Documentary Guarantee or URDG 758, the rules for Documentary Guarantee seem to be popular again. It can be imagined from the increasing number of questions that have popped up in recent days. Documentary Guarantee Forum is an effort to develop a platform to discuss these questions.

Vietnam Laws on Bank Guarantee

Hi Pal,

a guarantee, Advance Payment Bond, has been issued under Vietnamese Law, Court of Ho Chi Minh, but
indicating "Internationaly regulated by ICC URDG Publi, n. 758".
In your experience which is the result?

I will assume that the guarantee is subject to URDG 758 and any matter that is not covered by that would be under Vietnamese law.
