Export Payment

Dear Members

I have made export through sight LC. There are three banks involved LC opening , Reimbursing and Beneficiary bank.
My customer bank has send MT 740 one month ago but middle bank i,e reimbursing bank not yet paid nor he replied any swift on the subject. what remady available for me. How should I resolve this issue.

Hi Pal,

Issuing Bank sent MT740 to Reimbursing Bank, but when did you sent your MT742 to Reimbursing Bank.
The latter must inform you, and eventually Issuing Bank, for any difficulties.

you'd better send swift to issuing bank and ask for delay payment interest.

under what law I can claim delayed payment interest , as there is no such provision in Letter of credit.
