Hi all,
I need your help for this subject:
L/C terms stipulates:third party documents acceptable except invoice and draft,
and it is an irrevocable and transferable L/C where we had precising on the l/c the name of the second beneficiary.
We have received a commercial invoice issued by second beneficiary.
Is this a discrepancy, i.e invoice issued by third party not comply with l/c terms??
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards.
Samira.

Re: Third party documents acceptable
Hi Pal,
probably the first beneficiary did not substituted the documents and the transferring bank accepted
documents that were compliant to the transferred credit.
More details are necessary. let us know.

Re: Third party documents acceptable
I think LC wrongly issued since transferable LC must not include such a term or must exclude article 38i, in the lc.
