CLARIFICATION - STAMPING ON THE BILL OF LADING

Post by SHAIKELIYAS » Wed Apr 07, 2021 4:50 pm

Hi All:

Please clarify, it is mandatory requirement that Bill Of Lading (Negotiable - 3 Originals) needs to be stamped by the issuer in addition to their signature.
Although, LC does not states that all the documents needs to be signed and stamped by the issuer.

Your response is highly appreciated.

With best regards

Hi Pal,

I think that ISBP 745 para A35 a) and b) may resolve your dilemma.
Other comments appreciated
