charter party documents
I find no document relating to chater party except B/L.
So I think that if a credit calls for a B/L and says 'charter party documents are acceptable', it means that credit is allowing to present 'charter party B/L'
Any comments are appreciated

One answer
Former UCP 500 makes reference in art. 25 b how to handle a charter party contract in case it is required by credit along with original Charter Party B/L.
I feel this is the document you are looking for. Any other documentation in this respect would be outside of LC scope.
Hope you find this useful.

Cristian

Charter Party Contracts - under UCP600
Adding to Cristiand696's comment:
UCP600 have also treated the Charter party contracts; pls refer to UCP600 Art.22 b.
"A bank will not examine charter party contracts, even if they are required to be presented by the terms of the credit."

Thanks for yr views
Hi all,
i have an L/C which requires an ocean B/L in field 46A and in field 47A, there is a statement says that: " third party docs or charter paty docs are acceptable" ( without any definition of them )
i only find out the expression defined "third party docs " in ISBP.
Should i contact to the issuing bank to clarify "charter paty docs " ? Can i treat it as charter paty B/L.
thanks for yr views saying that charter paty docs is maybe charter paty contract , but in this case the words "acceptable" is used to mention about permitted docs for presenting instead of other required docs. So, it can be charter party B/L.
pls correct me !
