Through bill of lading and DDU incoterm.

Hi
1. Please explain what a "through" bill of lading is. Is it a multimodal transport document?
2. Under DDU incoterm should the named place be a city or can it be applicant's physical address?
Thanks in advance.

1. a through bill of lading is a bill of lading that covers receipt from point of origin to the point of discharge using two or more modes of transport. this its a multimodal type of transport document.

2. in my opinion, it could be a specific address as well.
