A marine bill of lading used letterhead as ABC Co.,Ltd in bold print. This document is signed by XYZ company in the manner: "As agent for the carrier of B/L' title. Is the B/L compliant with UCP's requirement relating to the name of carrier? Does the phrase: "Carrier of B/L's title" mean the carrier whose name appeas on the letterhead?
I shall appreciate receiving your opinions on above query.

letterhead as ABC Co.,Ltd in bold print in a marine B/L without existing any link to "carrier" dose not mean that "ABC Co.,Ltd " is carrier but it can be considered only as issuer. for more clarification i draw your attention to page 90 of "commentary on UCP 600"

The carrier must be indefinitely as carrier in the Blii of lading , so issuing BL on the letter head of xzy CO dies not indicate that xyz is the carrier
