say a letter of credit was issued to import mens trousers. under additional condition, the credit states that "labor union certificate" must show that the production does not involve any child labor.

is it a non-documentary condition?

:D Good question iLC. to me its a documentary condition. though its not asking for a certificate directly, to meet the condition, one needs to produce a certificate. So...

by the way, who is the exporter? ;)

Hi Admin and iLC,

I know it is just a joke from iLC but I don’t think person-trafficking is an appropriate example to be used in a professional forum like ours. The forum may face a protest from our female readers/colleagues.

It is suggested that the example be removed or at least changed.

Thanks for your prompt attention.
