Hi i have this additional condition in my LC.

"ALL DOCS MUST BE ISSUED IN ENGLISH, HAD TITLE AS L/C REQUIRED AND DATED"

The bold meaning what? Does that means docs must bear LC number and dated as per LC date right?

hi,

ALL DOCS MUST BE ISSUED IN ENGLISH, HAD TITLE AS L/C REQUIRED AND DATED"

it mean that all the documents should be issued in english language only by the beneficiary
for example applicant and beneficiary will be from bifferent locations of the world in international trade, beneficiary's country may be china, so if benieficiary issues a document in his language then applicant and any of the bank who makes a comply presentation
then it will be deficult to examine.
documents can be issued in any language and followed by english language is acceptable and all the document must be dated

apart from the document in english requirement, i noticed a separate requirement; viz title as required in the LC. i dont think it has anything to do with the LC number. rather to me it says that all documents must be titled exactly the same way they are asked in the LC. that is if LC calls for a packing list; a document titled weight note wont do.

other comment appreciated.

Hi I am Mahmudur Rahman , New CDCS passed 2010

My opinion is the Doc to be in English and all documents must be titled exactly the same way they are asked in the Credit i.e if Credit calls for a Commercial Invoice , document titled should be exactly Commercial Invoice .

Why not seek a clarification instead of self made enterpretations, pls. which if at the end of the day proves wrong would render the docs descrepant.
