We have receive a import document under confimed LC where confirming bank has provided discrepancies on their fwd letter as ..

BL not endorsed as per clause 47 A .... (To order and blank endorsed)

Actually BL is blank endorsed with Beneficiary/Shippers round stamp in Chinese language but not signed in physical hand wring .Is this a discrepancy?

As per ISBP clause 39. "A signature need not be handwritten. Facsimile signatures, perforated signatures, stamps, symbols (such as
chops) or any electronic or mechanical means of authentication are sufficient."

But I suppose why confirming bank (of CHINA) has raised the discrepancy .Round stamp may contain Co. name and address only in Chinese language and not contain name of person ,so confirming bank may have raised discrepancy.

All the BL received from china are blank endorsed with stamp only (without physical signature or authorised person name). Then is all BL discrepant?

Pls. provide your views.

i could consider that as an discrepancy. any stamp is not a signature
