Hi,
I would appreciate you comments in respect of terms 'B/L or Multimodal Transport Document'
How do you in opening of L/C define document which is evisaged for multimodal transport?
Do you require: 'full set of multimodal (combined) B/L' or 'full set of multimodal (combined)transport document'?
Please comment
thanks

Recomendations
Hi Pal,
"Details in field 44 A, B, E, F, will indicate the UCP Article ruling the matter" This is the last recommandation of the ICC, contained in the On Board Guidelines,: Document No. 470/1128 rev final dd 22 April 2010. Applicant and bankers must well evaluate the goods itinerary and issue the l/c according to. If it is so when respective fields are filled it will be possible to determine the article ruling the transport document.
-i.e. any fields from 44A, E, F or B (or all of them) = Multimodal or Combined Transport Document.
Remember the "However Named" possibility.
