Has the applicant bank right to refuse the discrepant documents ! even though the applicant agrees to accept the documents?. incase of usance LC bill.

What is to be done by the banker, if the doc. are released on the basis of acceptance of discrepancies by the applicant and the applicant failed to pay/fund the bill amount o due date?

need your confirmation before answering. by saying applicant bank you are indeed meaning applicant bank and not issuing bank. i felt that you are thinking about issuing bank instead. by the way, whats your position in this transaction?
