LC - whos property?

Post by callzr » Fri Sep 26, 2008 1:13 am

Hi,

I was baffled by one recent discovery of mine that these days the customs officials of Benapole port are actually not giving the swift copy of the LC back once submitted to them? (well, once the consignment amt/qty meets the amt/qty of the LC).

Now, My question is who's property would be that Applicant copy of the LC after the goods are cleared.

If anyone have any experience regarding warranty replacement, you will know that the CCINE would ask for original applicant copy of the LC along with other documents. Now, if Benapole customs is holding on to the expired Lc and I may need to submit it to the CCINE, how would I do it?

Is there any way that the bank can come up with any help?

Thank you all.

Zia.
