Dear all,
I was asked sometimes what is a neutral document? I know it is not often used in practice. So I'd like to know whether you come across such kind of documents, ie. neutral invoice or packing list.
There is argument that someone think neutrual document won't show the name of the issuer while some others think it won't show the name of the receipient.
What do you think of it? Many thanks for it.

The content of your query make me understand that the name of the issuer has not been mentioned in the document but does LC condition allow that.

In theory, any document can be made in neutral form. So it is regarded as third party document as well. I can understand that it can be accepted under transferable L/C. But have no idea whether it is used in other circumstances.

a little quote from icc opinion

Another acceptable alternative to this would be where the document is "neutral", i.e. it is not on headed paper but within the body there is evidence of completion and/or signature of a chamber of commerce.
