freight by collect

Simple is Beautiful; the only thing came in my mind when thought of documentary collection. And I think more and more people are thinking the same in these days. Documentary Collection offers us far greater security than selling on open account; but not as much as a documentary credit. dear all,

I appreciate if you asist me in this issue that what 'freight by collect' means.I just requested specifications and price list on one product and the shipper sent it me it. in part 'sample quotation' it reads that :7-10working days,freight by collect.

Hi Pal,

IMHO, freight by collect is an unusual term for Freight to collect as opposit to freight prepaid.
