Dear all,
In our L/C stipulated docs required that "full set of insurance policy or certificate, showing claim at X city, Y country and indicating name of insurance agent in china with full address and tel, fax no."
But in fact, on the face of the presented insurance policy indicated as follow:
- "showing claim in X city"
- insurance agents: ABC , Z city, Y country
This address is not the same as L/C stipulated (X city)
In my opinion, that presentation is not complied, what about you?
Besides, they gave us 3 original of insurance policy and Are they considered full set ?
Thanks

i will consider that as an spelling mistake. about full set; does the policy shows the number of original issued? if yes, and it more than three than its a discrepancy. if the policy is silent then the presented three policy will be considered as the full set

thanks
About the full set of insurance Policy, I agree with you
We can not know the foreign insurance co 's rules, how many originals considered as a full set, do you?
But Pls give your opinions about the above matter ?

dear dua,

i really dont think there is any discrepancy especially with the city name. i gave a search in google with "Ha Noi" and it came up with a lots of result showing both Hanoi and Ha Noi. consider this for example -

http://www.vietscape.com/travel/hanoi/

so i think Ha Noi and Hanoi is all the same. besides the address of only the consignee and notify party needs to be accurate. there is not such requirement for other documents

i hope that helps
