dear all,

please have a look at the attached document. consider the certificate of origin. do you think that really goes with the invoice. please note that the invoice complies with the LC. looking at the certificate of origin, i am just thinking what type of discrepancy should i raise. please note that the shipper, consignee, transport information, invoice no, proforma invoice no, lc number does not match with the LC and bill of lading.

the purpose of certificate of origin is to certify the origin of the goods. i think the Certificate of origin is doing that. the other information which appears to be in conflict with the invoice is allowed. please check related ISBP and ICC opinion. so i think there is only one discrepancy remain that you could actually raise and that is the description of the goods. there is in fact a ICC opinion which says that the certificate of origin cannot show goods description that are not covered under the LC. and the term is USED also sufficiently affect the description of goods
