every thing for beeing acceptable is OK except "for or on behave" before Master because the ABC shiping line should have signed for or on behave of the Master.meanwhile missing of the name of Master is not problem because according to Art. 22 name of the Master is not required to be mentioned.

signing a charter party bill of lading

to me the bill of lading is perfectly signed. "For", "On behalf of", "As agent of" all indicate that the one party is signing for another and therefore any of them is acceptable.

Such format would comply with art.22a.i of UCP (a NAMED agent) and with art.118 b of ISBP (In this event the name of the master NEED NOT be stated)

for or on behave of

Dear shahriar,
the phrases "for" , " on behave of " and " as agent of "from our personal viewpoint can have same meaning.in this case I agree with you but in checking documents we have to do it based on UCP only but not our viewpoint , so to me according to UCP Art. 22 exsisting for or on behave is required.

thank you
hassan
