Dear all,
It May be a little boring for you because I,m sure it has already been discused in the past but unfortunately still it is my problem that when an agent signs transport docs which one of following is correct?
- "for or on behave of" carrier
- for carrier
- on behave of carrier

A agree that all of them OK.

In practice two ways popular:

- for carrier
- on behalf of carrier

The following are the ways the agent can sign a transport docs.
1). As agent for or on behalf of the carrier
2). As agent for the carrier
3). As agent on behalf of the carrier
Most of the B/l’s are preprinted with the wording similar to Item 1.
B regards

Both goes same way..

I confirm that both are okay, but in both cases "For or On behalf" it should be mentioned "As Agent"
because I've been recently faced with a discrepancy of this kind.

Take care,
