Hi Pal,
I think that it is not possible to endorse a straight consigned bill of lading, except when permitted by local law.
In your case you have a bill of lading consigned to bank A, OK Bank A may just endorse the bill of lading for taking up the goods.
Naturally ship agent at port of discharge will try to help the true consignee to get the goods.
In my Country not necessary endorsement are considered null and void.
