if a letter of credit calls for a multimodal transport document where incoterm is FCA china and swift field 44a is filled as any place of china, can there be a port of loading as the first leg of the journey
does incoterm allows FCA with sea shipment

what says INCOTERMS 2000
The INCOTERMS 2000 states:
FCA
This term may be used irrespective of the mode of transport, including
multimodal transport.“Carrier” means any person who, in a contract of carriage, undertakes to
perform or to procure the performance of transport by rail, road, air, sea,inland waterway or by a combination of such modes.

Therefore the issuing bank was correct in the credit in this respect.
