Dear Sir,
Art 30 states "the amount, the quantity or the unit price to which they refer." So it is indicated that tolerance can be applicable either only unit price, or only value or only quantity. But usually, we see that at least two components (among unit price, value or qty) are used to effect tolerance.
How can only one component be effective? Will appreciate if anyone can help understanding with example of using the single component separately.
Regards

Without unit price
If you remove unit price from the LC, then it is possible to use tolerance either on quantity or on LC value

Only quantity
I think it means tolerance for quantity (which defined in unit), not for unit price.

Hi
I think you are referring art 30 (a ) ...if you are referring to article 30a then that means that if the word ''About'' is mentioned in front of Quantity or unit price or L/c amount ..then automatically 10pct tolereance will be allowed
