Dear Members LC silent about partial shipments . Does it mean they are prohibited? Please provide reference source in your reply

Hi Pal,
art 31 UCP 600 is clear
a-Partial drawings or shipments allowed-
So if you dont want partial shipments you must clause the l/c with prohibited, not allowed or the like, regarding these shipments-

LC silent about partial shipments
Hi,
UCP-600 article 31a clears it.
If Lc is silent about Partial shipment then Partial drawings or shipments are always allowed.
If u want to prohibit partial shipment u must clearly prohibit in In LC
