Post by Tareq » Fri Jan 02, 2015 8:26 am

Dear friends,

The beneficiary presents a B/L where two On board date noted. Feeder vessel on board date-01 dec. 2014 at Shekou, china and Mother vessel On board date 10 dec.,2015 at shanghai, china. As per LC terms, Port of Loading: Any seaport of china and Latest shipment date : 7 dec.,2014 and Tenor: 30 days after shipment date. Now, my question is-For calculating maturity date which date we count?

Hi Pal,

IMHO, from the date of the on board referred to the Port of Loading, and not to the place of receipt, indicated in the bill
of lading.
