Issue SBLC (STANDBY LC) In A Format Of Documentary LC

I'd like to clarify, whether it is possible to ISSUE SBLC but in documents requirement field to put similiar like in Documentary Letter pf Credit - payable only against original shipping documents?

No it is not possible!!
Because the standby works only non- performance happens and the applicant must present the unpaid copy of invoice and copy BL etc

Hi Pal,
normally a stand-by is working when the buyer or the debtor is not paying as per stipulated terms. In your case the goods will be release after the payment of the original shipping document.
All it is possible, if buyers, sellers and banks agree.
