In Incoterms DAP means Delivered at Place. Is the PLACE must be within the premises of Terminal? Please justify.

DAP DELIVERED AT PLACE is RULE USED FOR ANY MODE OR MODES OF TRANSPORT
can be used even when there is no maritime transport at all. It is important to remember, however, that these rules can be used in cases where a ship is used for part of the carriage.
if the parties intend the seller to bear the risks and costs involved in transporting and handling the goods from the terminal to another place, then the DAP or DDP rules should be used.

place could be any place at destination or point of delivery at the place

It should be clear whether DAP would involve custom formalities and payment of import duties by the export then DDP should be used . Further whether the exporter is in a position to complete the import formalities in the importer's country
