Would it be a discrepancy if a L/C calls for a B/L to be consigned to the order of bank ABC but a B/L is presented consigned to order of bank XYZ and bank XYZ endorse the B/L over to bank ABC

Dear All,

It is discrepancy. BL must show consignee as specified in the LC.

The below mentioned case, does not give the oppertunity bank for ABC bank to endorse it further.

dear all,
it Is not a discrepancy,Regulations in certain countries require that
bills of lading be issued to the order of the nominated bank and to be duly
endorsed to the issuing bank.
