Non documentary condition

Hi Pals,

Can this additional condition in field 47 a Swift Message MT700 considered as a NON DOCUMENTARY CONDITION:

-Each required stamps must be in english and bears signed manualy- ?

Hi Picant,

in my opinion this is not a non documentary condition as it applies to every document that has a signature. we can not ask for document for every thing. or else we will require to ask document for freight prepaid, FCL/FCL shipment etc.

even if we consider this a non documentary condition, still it is to be reviewed under article 14d.

i will appreciate other comments

it depends on what context the word "stamp" was used ?
even acost of superflous things , i list meaning of "stamp"

the stamp if not part of merchandise , will not make this as a non documnetary condition.
