Hi

We have received a LC with no LC issued date, but we received the LC on 23 Aug, however under field 47A there is a clause reading

THE NO.AND DATE OF THE CREDIT AND NAME OF OUR BANK MUST BE
QUOTED IN ALL DOCUMENTS.

Now bene has presented documents with date of issue in all documents as 22 Aug.

Kindly advice whether the above should me quoted as discrepancy.

many ICC opinions say that missing to quote l/c no. and other details is not a discrepancy, I know that even a Docdex decision n. 329 2013 re affirms such behavior.

If the L/C received by swift, MT700 date (sent date by issuing bank) will be considered as L/C issue date.
