What Would Be Considered A Geographical Area In LC?

Hi all,

What would be considered a geographical area in an LC, 44 field? Would just the mention of the country be enough? Like 44E : Portugal, or does it have to be like 'any airport in portugal'?

Also, would a mention like this be acceptable at port of discharge? 'CFR Dublin/Ireland'

Hi Pal,

I think that geographical area only reers to presentation of Charter Party Bill of Lading.
If you require Portugal, any place in Portugal will be acceptable.
