We receiving presentation of docs with a certificate issued by agent of the carrier without indication " issued by classification society which is approved by institute of London underwriters" the certificate presented indicates: we hereby certify and state as follows: that the vessel named above is classified with a member of the international association of classification societies IACS, which is approved by the institute of London underwriters
Will you consider document discrepancy? As per lc requirement. Beneficiary dispute as not valid discrepancy your valuable comments appreciated it

IMHO...
Hi Pal,
ISBP 745 para A20 is quite clear, the certificate should be issued by an entity declaring itsself Classification Society, or
agent of the same. Banks will not investigate if the issuer is or not a classification society.
