there is a clause on B/L " in witness of whereof three Bill of lading all of this tenor and date have been signed, one of which is accomplished, the others will stand avoid"

Please kindly help to explain the phrase "all of this tenor and date"?

tenor means maturity, but in this case that all the original bills of lading have the same value and date. So each bill is valid, by itself.

I fully agree with Picant that tenor refers to validity of bill, each one functioning as a standalone (independent) document until one of them is surrendered in exchange of goods when the other cease to be valid.
