Dear Experts,
Please confirm if separate on board notation confirming vessel name and port of loading required for Example 1a(i agree with example 1b) as i see ICC opinion R350 suggest to have the same. please advise.
We submit the following examples:
Example 1a:
Pre-carriage by
Place of Receipt Shanghai
Ocean Vessel Port of Loading
'Ocean Vessel' Hong Kong
Example 1b:
Pre-carriage by Feeder Vessel'
Place of Receipt Shanghai
Ocean Vessel Ocean Vessel'
Port of Loading Hong Kong
ICC Opinion
The bill of lading would require a dated 'on board' notation expressly stating that goods are on board a named ocean vessel at Hong Kong.
